I am a transplant surgeon and postdoctoral clinical fellow. I obtained my PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, with experience as a visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong. My research focuses on the clinical management and pathogenesis of donor liver injury in liver transplantation, as well as the development of human liver organoid disease models and their preclinical applications. I have published multiple first-author articles in journals, including eBioMedicine, Hepatology, CMGH, Liver Transplantation, and Transplantation. I am a two-time recipient of the Young Investigator Bursary from the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and a recipient of the Young Investigator Award from the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS). In 2023, I was selected for the Guangdong Overseas Postdoctoral Talent Support Program. I currently lead several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
