Professor Sangil Min is a well-known clinician and surgical scientist, specializing in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is currently a professor at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) and the CEO of the startup ROSANUS. Dr. Min plays a pivotal role in multiple national and international research projects, including serving as the Principal Investigator (PI) for K-QIPS and AI-CDSS for high-risk medications, leading a multi-institutional study, and participating in multinational early-phase clinical trials. Since 2012, he has been responsible for kidney and pancreas transplantation at SNUH.
Dr. Min graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine with an MD in 2001 and earned his PhD in 2016 from the same institution. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Research Fellow at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. His leadership roles include serving as the former Director of the QPS Center and current Director of the Organ Transplantation Center at SNUH, Chair of the Informatics Committee of the Korean Society for Transplantation, Secretary-General of the Korean Study Group of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation, and Secretary-General of the Korean Surgical Research Foundation.
His career reflects a blend of clinical expertise and scientific leadership, with significant contributions to transplantation and vascular surgery.
